A high school student is in deep trouble after a series of racist social media posts. The school resource officer at a local high school was called to the principal’s office to view screenshots of a series of messages that had been forwarded to the administration.
Five South Point students were tagged in the post, one of which said, “I hate n*****s so much. They need to burn. Can we please fund the KKK?” Another post directed towards female students contained racist and vulgar sexual language.
The posts were linked to an account belonging to a student. The principal told officers the school contacted the student’s parents and told her she was suspended until further notice.
The principal also said the school system would make efforts to expel the child in question from school.
