Deputies were called in to help after a child made some disturbing threats to his father for attempting to clean up his room.
The dad said the boy shoved him and threatened to kill him for coming into his room and that it wasn’t the first time it had happened. The father went into the room to clean up, and the son freaked out.

While he was on the phone with 911, the boy ripped the phone cord out of the wall. He said the boy had destroyed the doors to the parents’ bedroom, and they had installed 2 x 4 boards on their bedroom door because they were afraid the boy might attack them in their sleep.
Officers placed the boy under arrest and transported him to the Lawrence County Juvenile Detention Center.
