A teenage resident of a children’s home claimed that another resident of the facility sexually assaulted him.
Deputies were called to the facility after a teenager told a staff member that another teen had come into his room and asked to have sex with him. When he refused, he claimed the boy sexually assaulted him.
Officials at the home sent the boy for a medical examination and noted he did not appear to be injured. They also viewed camera footage that showed the boy going into the alleged victim’s room, but said he only stayed for two minutes.
Deputies notified CPS and the Licking County Department of Developmental Disabilities about the situation so that they could continue with the investigation.
