Drugs and food are two things that people get worked up about, and police were called in when a dispute got out of hand at a residence on St. Rt 139.
Just before 8 p.m., a woman said someone was refusing to leave her home and wanted deputies to do something about it.
The other person claimed the woman owed them money for drugs. The woman countered that she was actually the person who was owed money, but for food stamps, instead of drugs.
Before police could get to the bottom of the situation, the reporting party pulled the plug on the investigation and said they no longer needed officers.
