The hunt for a missing baby has come to a tragic end more than two years after a three-month-old girl went missing. Now, police say her own father is the one responsible for killing the infant and hiding her body all this time.
Kentucky State Police say the Huntington Police Department asked them to help out after they got a tip that the body of little Angel Overstreet might be found in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
SCDN spoke with a spokesperson for KSP overnight. While KSP didn’t go into details, they said they found enough evidence at that scene for Huntington prosecutors to get an indictment against Shannon Patrick Overstreet for the death of a child and concealing its remains.

When the child initially went missing, Overstreet claimed he turned her over to CPS but workers said that never happened. Overstreet was already in jail for assaulting his mother and forgery.
