A startled woman called police around 3:30 p.m. after a bold intruder broke into her car outside the 16th Street Apartments.
A sharp-eyed neighbor spotted a mystery man in a black hoodie sneaking out of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect even opened the rear hatch before bolting and hiding behind a dumpster!
Luckily, the owner reported nothing was stolen, but she wisely documented the break-in in case the hoodie-wearing prowler strikes again.
With no security cameras at the apartment complex, police had little to go on—leaving residents on high alert.
