🔧 THIEF PRIES OPEN CAR WASH PAY SYSTEM WITH CROWBAR!
Deputies responded to a bold act of vandalism at a Marathon gas station on County Road 144, where a brazen thief used a crowbar to rip the bill collector and computer system out of the wall of a nearby car wash.
Security footage showed a newer silver Ford F-150 pulling up, with a larger male exiting the truck and going to work on the machine. Unfortunately, his face was covered, and the truck’s license plate was obscured, making identification tricky.
The store manager provided surveillance footage, and investigators are working to track down the destructive bandit responsible for the costly damage.
👊 HOT CHOCOLATE ATTACK AT REHAB FACILITY!
Later that evening, deputies were called to a Burlington rehab facility after reports of an assault on staff.
Upon arrival, officers spotted a woman walking away from the entrance. When questioned, she admitted to being involved in the incident.
What Went Down?
According to staff, the suspect, identified as M, got into a heated argument with her fiancé. When he tried to walk away, M chased after him.
Staff members attempted to calm her down, but M lashed out—throwing a cup of hot chocolate in one staffer’s face! When another employee intervened, M punched her in the face and yanked her hair.
M’s Side of the Story
M claimed she and her fiancé were trying to leave the facility, but staff wouldn’t let them. She said she felt cornered and started swinging. She also denied throwing hot chocolate, insisting it was just pop.
The Verdict?
Surveillance footage backed up the staff’s version of events.
M later complained of chest pain, prompting an EMS evaluation. Once she was cleared, she was hauled off to jail.
