Customer Calls Cops on Employee Under the Influence
A worried customer at a Lucasville gas station contacted deputies to report that the cashier appeared to be either high or having some type of medical emergency.
The caller said the clerk was slurring words and bumping into things. The clerk admitted to drinking some whiskey that morning.
The officer called EMS personnel, who felt that the clerk was heavily under the influence of barbiturates.
Officers spoke to the store manager, who came into the store and said they would take responsibility for getting the employee home safe and sound.
