Just after 11:30 am, an employee at the CVS on Scioto Trail called 9-1-1 to report a shoplifter went wild when employees and a customer tried to stop him. The employee said they had the stolen items back, and the shoplifter left the store.
When police reviewed the security footage, they confirmed he assaulted a customer. The officer told employees to have that customer contact them to file a police report.
