A mom called 911 at 2:30 am to report her daughter had stolen her car and crashed it in a field on Sedan Crabtree Road. The mom said when she arrived on the scene, she saw several people flee the scene. She said There might be someone in the backseat and someone had run into the woods.

Officers located a boy who’d been in the car at his aunt’s house and called for an ambulance. Both the female driver and the boy refused transport to the hospital, and his parents took him home.
Officers were not able to locate the owner of the vehicle who made the original report.
