A sharp-eyed delivery driver saved a Lucasville woman’s life. He called 9-1-1 just before 10 am to report he could see a woman lying on the floor in her house. He said it appeared she had fallen down steps, but the door was locked, and he couldn’t get inside.

A deputy arrived on the scene within ten minutes and forced entry into the home to get to the woman.
An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital. Neighbors offered to step in to cover the window that the deputy broke to get inside and said they would watch the house.
