A Scioto County Deputy went above and beyond to help an invalid in need of attention.
The bedbound woman, who suffers from cognitive issues, had repeatedly pressed her medical alert button. At first, the family contacts were answering calls, but they began to send the calls from the SCSO straight to voicemail.

When a deputy went to the woman’s home, they discovered that the family member staying with the woman had left. Her oxygen had come off, and she also wanted a soda.
The deputy reconnected the oxygen and got her a soda.
