Donna Craycraft Bass, 80, of Greenup, KY., passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Greenup, KY., on December 15, 1944, a daughter of the late Stanley and Ethel Allen Craycraft.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harry Bass II who passed away in 2014; one brother, Donald Craycraft; two sisters, Wavel Engle, and Garnet Craycraft; three brother-in-laws, Bert Deems, Tim Potter, and Butch Engle.
She was a Homemaker and a member of Globe Church of Christ.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sherry Johnson Bass of Greenup, KY; two sons, Harry (Michelle) “Buddy” Bass III of South Shore, KY., and Michael (Melissa) Bass of South Portsmouth, KY; two brothers, Harold (Teresa) Craycraft and Randy (Julie) Craycraft; two sisters, Sue Deems and Diane Potter; six grandchildren, Megan (Andrew) Cooper, Kristin Dale (Jason) Berryman, Keileigh Johnson, Chase (Haley) Bass, J.R. (Kylisha) Johnson, Cameronn Bentley, Chelsi (Chance) Neff, and Derek Potter; seven great-grandchildren, Bexleigh, Breckyn, Koriah Faye, Macy, Alivianna, Aramaya, Availah and one on the way.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Bernie Parsons and Keith Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the funeral home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Thursday.
