Dorothy “Dot” May DeLotelle Craft, 87, of Rubyville went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Hill View Retirement Center. She was born on January 21, 1937, in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Hobert and Ethel Williams McCallister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Walter Edward DeLotelle; her second husband, Harold Eugene Craft; two brothers, Hobert “Mike” McCallister, Charles McCallister; one sister, Helen Mead, and her son-in-law, Chris Oyer.
She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Oyer of Chillicothe, OH, Lisa Cooper of Portsmouth, Amy (Joe) Fraley of Granville, OH, Angie Craft of Westerville, OH; a son, Kevin (Cindy) Craft of Rubyville; three sisters, Ethel Nylund, Grace Nunley, Rev. Deborah Messham; three brothers, John (Karen) McCallister, Bob (Mary) McCallister, Fred McCallister; sister-in-law, Mary Lou McCallister, and her dog she loved, Ruby.
She will be missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Eric Freauf of Portsmouth, Derek (Charisa) Oyer and daughter Giordania of Chillicothe, OH, Brooke (Chad) Freauf and daughter Lyric of Sciotoville, Allison (Julio) Gutierrez and son Kobe of Chillicothe, OH, Lily Fraley, Jace Fraley, David Fraley of Granville, OH, Justin (Jordyn) Craft and sons Cooper and Logan of Miamisburg, OH
She was a Portsmouth High School Graduate in 1955, worked at SOMC as a surgical tech, and attended Rubyville Community Church.

A celebration of Dot’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Rev. Debbie Messham and Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth.
