Drug Bust After Backyard Prowler Caught on Camera
Portsmouth Police officers chased down an intruder after a Coles Blvd. homeowner spotted the guy on ring doorbell security camera.
The homeowner called 911 to say he wasn’t home, but his security camera had alerted him to a man dressed in black, carrying a black backpack and taking items from his backyard.

When officers caught up with the guy, they found the hand sanitizer he was carrying matched cases of hand sanitizer stored on the homeowner’s back porch.
The suspect also was found to have fentanyl and meth on him. Officers took him into custody for theft and drug possession.
