1 Drunk Boyfriend Kills Cat on High Street
Just after 12:30 pm, an upset woman contacted officers to report that her drunken boyfriend had killed her cat. She said the man was currently in her backyard.
When police spoke to the woman, she said she would check with the witnesses to the incident were willing to talk and decide if she wanted to press charges.
However, she never returned the phone call to the police.
2 Man Arrested After Altercation at Royal Inn
At 12:39 am, a caller reported there was a disturbance at the Royal Inn, and one of the parties involved had left to get a gun. When officers arrived at the scene, they learned no direct threats were made. No one involved wanted to file a report or pursue charges.
Twenty minutes later, officers were called back to the scene for a report of a man and woman fighting. Police took the man into custody for violating a temporary order of protection.
Deputies were called back to the motel at 3:50 pm, for a man complaining that his girlfriend would not return his vehicle. The car was parked in front of a room, but the girlfriend was not there. Police confirmed he was the lawful owner of the vehicle.
The man removed fuses from the vehicle to keep her from driving away and said he would try to get another set of keys.
At 11 pm, a caller reported their iPhone stolen from their room at the Royal Inn. Officers took information for a report.
