Fawn Landrum Egerton, 68, of South Webster, departed this world Monday, January 17, 2022, at her home. She was born February 6, 1953, in Lyra, Ohio to the late William Hollis Landrum and Mildred Call Landrum.
Fawn was a graduate of South Webster High School in the class of 1971. She had an Associate Degree and was a South Webster native who worked as a Chemical Engineer at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant for 32-1/2 years. She also played Pro Basketball for the Arkansas Lassies and she was of the Baptist faith.
Fawn is survived by her husband, James “Allen” Egerton, whom she married in Pigeon Forge, TN. She is also survived by two step-children Amy Jo Howard and Jeff and Selena Egerton; a granddaughter, she raised, Kayla (Robert) Lingo; three additional grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Fawn enjoyed her overnights with her great-grandson Ayden and being outdoors. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Fawn’s name to SOMC Hospice.
Services for Fawn will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Roy Bennett officiating. The interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
