Floyd McGraw, 85, of South Webster passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at SOMC Hospice. Born August 31, 1935, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Joseph Wesley and Margaret Zella Mault McGraw, he was a telephone/newspaper type setter for the Columbus Dispatch and was a self-employed farmer.
He is survived by four daughters, Sue (Raymond) Wheeler, Deborah (Troy) Huff, Brenda (Kyle) Knore, Elizabeth (Gary) Neff; nine grandchildren, Kristy Tackett, Carl Wesley McGraw, Jr., Amy Hickman, Kasey Knore, Margaret Ann McGraw, Alisha Cronin, Travis Huff, Taylor Huff, Morgan Neff; eight great grandchildren, Mariah Davis, Brea Tackett, Piper Cronin, Jaylen Hickman, C.J. Cronin, Braxton Hickman, Oliver McGraw, Chase Hickman, and one sister, Marcella Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Jean (Melvin) McGraw on July 28, 2019; one son, Carl Wesley McGraw; two brothers, Lewis McGraw, Leonard McGraw, and one sister, Elizabeth Shamhart.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at South Webster Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Bell officiating. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
