Freda Jean Bocook, 91, of Wheelersburg, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 21, 1930, in Lyra, a daughter of the late George and Carrie Andre Brown.
She attended Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, South Webster High School, and enjoyed going to Whitey’s Music Barn and spending time with her friends.
Freda is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Clark and husband Neil of Rubyville, two sisters, Bonnie Clark of Wheelersburg and Georgia Hall of South Webster; three grandchildren, Kristin (Taylor) Cooper, Cody Clark, and Laura and Corvan Clark; three great-grandchildren, Mason, Ashton, and Jace Cooper.
Freda was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bocook, a brother, Donald Brown, sisters, Mary Bocook, Irene Thompson, Shirley Ebmeier, Jane Felty, and infant Norma Jean Brown.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 11 AM to 12 Noon at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with graveside services to follow at 1:00 PM at Vernon Cemetery.
