Geraldine Marie Raike, 70, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday January 16, 2025 at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born May 27, 1954 in Portsmouth a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Marie (Taylor) Ratcliff.
She enjoyed canning, making Beef Jerkey and helping Leroy in the garden. She loved to shop, in person or online! She formerly worked at Mullin’s Construction Co., Jerry’s Movies & Arcade, known as the Video Store along with various Mini Marts in the area.
Geraldine is survived by three grandchildren, Austin Eldridge of South Webster, Justin Raike of Portsmouth and Kyleigh Raike of Portsmouth; three brothers, George Ratcliff of Jackson, Jim Ratcliff and Charles Ratcliff both of North Carolina; special nieces, Tammy Harris, Debbie stone as well as several more nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Leroy Raike and a son, Jess Leroy Raike Jr.
Arrangements are pending at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg.
