Good neighbors played Crimestoppers to help cops catch a man who broke into a woman’s house while she was in the hospital. Now, 23-year-old Brayden Queen is sitting in the Scioto County Jail. This is the second time in 5 days he’s been busted on theft charges.

Here’s how it all went down. A Tanglewood Avenue resident called 9-1-1 on Friday from her hospital bed. She said neighbors had alerted her that someone had broken into her house and passed along pictures and videos of the suspects. Luckily, she was able to identify one of the men.

When deputies responded to her home, they found a door had been pried open. Officers managed to locate one of the suspects in Portsmouth and also spotted a truck matching the description of the one used in the burglary.
One of the suspects told officers he had no idea what was going on. He said Brayden Queen had just asked him for a ride to the victim’s home. The man said Queen told him he had permission to be there and to take the items. Deputies found items taken in the burglary in the truck and inside a home.
Officers arrested Brayden Queen for burglary, tampering with evidence, possession of criminal tools, and possession of drugs. He’s currently in the Scioto County Jail, held on $87,000 bond, and due in court on Monday.
Police busted Queen back on April 9 on two counts of theft and back in November for domestic violence.
