Four people were arrested after guns, suspected crystal meth, scales, and $4000 dollars in cash were seized from an apartment on 17th Street in Portsmouth.
The bust went down on January 6, just before three. Officers from Portsmouth Police Department SWAT, the Southern Ohio Drug Taskforce, and a Portsmouth K9 unit accompanied the Portsmouth Municipal Court Probation office o a visit to the apartment of Stacy Ann Young, 44. Young had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
A search of her apartment revealed three handguns, more than $4000 in cash, digital scales, suspected crystal meth, and an unknown powder.
Also arrested on the scene were three visitors to Young’s apartment, Troy Samuels, 56, of Portsmouth, Rebecca Dennison, 45, of Portsmouth, and Corey Demetrius Pullings, 42, of Dayton.
Samuels and Pullings were charged with having a weapon while under disability. Bennison was arrested on an outstanding warrant. All four were taken to the Scioto County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and will eventually be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office.
