Guy Harrison Reynolds, 71 of Otway passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, April, 7, 2025. He was born on June 19, 1953 in Portsmouth to the late Joseph Reynolds and the late Katheryn Marshall Reynolds. On May 24, 1985, he was united in marriage to Leah Groves Reynolds of Otway. In addition to his wife, Guy is survived by his children; Christopher (Sara) Harness of Rarden and Stephanie (Timothy) Jones of Lucasville; grandchildren, Nolan (Kristin) Cooper of Lucasville, Alana Harness of Rarden, Briana Jones of Lucasville, Annabella Harness of Rarden, Aviana Harness of Rarden and Adaline Harness of Rarden; special grandson, Logan Groves McWilliams; great grand daughter, Natalie Shelton of Lucasville; siblings, Greg (Barb) Millard of Grafton, Cathy Jo Reynolds of Otway, John (Melissa) Reynolds of Otway, Sandy (Anton) Bishop Staker of Portsmouth and Bob Bishop of Waverly; nephew Wade Reynolds of Otway.
In addition to his parents, Guy was preceded in death by three brothers; Joey Lynn Reynolds, Orin Jay Reynolds and Mike Bishop and his step-mother Audrey Reynolds.
Guy was a 1971 graduate of Northwest High School. He was a retired welder for Plumbers and Pipefitter’s Local Union #189. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #465 in Lucasville. Guy was a lifelong member of the Rarden Fire Department where he served his community for over 50 years.
A Masonic Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Daron Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Harmon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
