Harold Richard Smith, Jr. , 45, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Ross County, Ohio. He was born July 15, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold Richard Smith and Patricia Withers Ater of Waverly. Surviving are a son, Mason Mirras of Cumberland, Maryland; sisters, Patty Rister of Chillicothe, Sonda Smith, Beverly (David) Rawson of Chillicothe and Angel Ater of Waverly; step-father, Benjamin Ater; nephews and nieces, Autumn (Dillon), LeAndra (Zachary), Devon and Christopher; and great-nephews, Tobias, Maxus, Adrielus, Kameron, Maxton and Brantley; and great-niece, Blair.
Harold was a graduate of Unioto High School and the Pickaway Ross CTC.
