Harry Dean Bennett, 66, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio was called to his eternal home in heaven to be with his lord and savior on June 8, 2021, at 8:45 PM. Harry was a Marine Corp veteran, a member of Ohio Patriot Bikers, Ohio Color Guard, and the American Legion Riders. His passion and loves in life were his family, riding his Harley motorcycle, painting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Delores Bennett; four daughters, Brandy Stringer of Portsmouth, Heather (Dan) Blanton of Piketon, Rachel (Mike) Davis of Waverly and Beth (Randy) Arthurs/Barney of Minford; brothers, Harry Baldwin of Tennessee and Tom Bennett of Minford; many nieces, nephews and one special nephew he loved as his own son, Ashley Ray (Ashley) Bennett of Texas, mother-in-law, Minnie Christy and his fur babies, Harley and Little Man.
He was a loving papaw to nine grandchildren, Stephen, Kiersten, Dani Rae, Raedan, Michael, Jacob, Wesley, Beau and Elizabeth. He was also a loving great-grandpa to Braxton.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Zirkles, sister Anita Bennett, son Joey Troncone; two sisters-in-laws, Gloria Schnitzius and Yvonne Colegrove and a great-great niece Henslea Jean.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM Friday June 11, 2021 and Saturday 12 to 1 PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating.
Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery with Military Honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.
