Heather Reese, age 39, of South Webster, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Columbus. She was born September 5, 1986, in Portsmouth.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandson. Heather was proud mom, when her son Aaron joined the US Army. She always enjoyed going to watch her son play sports when he was in school and she loved her dogs very much.
Heather is survived by her mother, Tammy Woodruff of South Webster; a son, Aaron Taylor of North Carolina; a daughter, Haylee Reese of South Webster; a sister Brandy Woodruff of Wheelersburg; grandson Waylon Reese; stepfather, Bryan Woodruff of Oak Hill; grandparents, James and Wanda Taulbee of Wheelersburg and James and Wanda Fraley of Oak Hill; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with a special uncle Donnie Adkins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Reese; a brother, Seth Reese; grandparents, Jerry and Zolene McGlone, Evan Reese and Glenna Davis.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster, officiated by Dean Kuhn. Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM Wednesday prior to service.
