Holden Bates, five month old infant son of Lexus and Daniel Bates of Wheelersburg exchanged residences Saturday September 21, 2024 and is now in the arms of Jesus.
In addition to his parents, Holden is survived by two brothers, Hayden Bates, and Hunter Bates; a sister Harper Bates all of Wheelersburg; two grandmothers, Jackie Bates, and Betty Patterson; Mamaw Tiffany Lodwick; Papaw Jonathan Shepherd; Great grandparents, Jerry and Sandy Osborne; MeMe Ruthi Musick and PapPap Buck Musick; uncles Landan Lodwick, Eric Bates, Jonathan Evans, Jesus Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar, and Tony Musick; aunt Mariel Aguilar; special nanny Heather and uncle Brian Yates; aunt and uncle Seth and Dawn Smith; lots of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Holden was preceded in death by his Papaw Hayden Bates; great grandma Ann Bates; great grandpa Jan Bates; two aunts, Renee Bates and Sunnie Maser; Uncle Ethan Shepherd, great papaw Dale Shepherd; and three cousins, Zachary, Sierra, and Noah Yates.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston, with Pastor PaPaw Darrel “Buck” Musick officiating with interment to follow at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg.
