Just after 11 am, a Findlay Street caller reported an incident involving a homeless man, which she said kept causing problems for her family.
She told officers the man stole the lug nuts off her car and tried to hit her husband with a stick. The husband said the man had been hanging around the area recently, even though he doesn’t live there, and had broken into his wife’s car on three separate occasions.
Campbell Avenue residents called 911 at 5 pm to report a homeless couple who was sleeping in the alley behind their home. They said the couple refused to leave and made aggressive threats toward them. Officers spoke to three homeless people in the alley and advised them about sleeping in the alley. They left the scene without incident.
