A worried wife called 9-1-1 around 9 am to report her husband missing. She told officers he’d left the house the previous day around 11:30 am to go for a ride on his ATV but hadn’t returned and that no one in the family had been able to contact him.
She was concerned because he’d been drinking and called off work. Officers headed to search the area, but the wife called them shortly afterward. She said she’d spoken to the husband, and they would be able to find him walking down Roy Rogers Road, which is about 10 miles away from their home.
Officers located the man on Roy Rogers Road. He said he was okay but dehydrated and sore from attempting to walk home. His wife arrived in just a few minutes and took him to the hospital to get checked out by doctors.
