Indecent Exposure Reported
An employee of a local medical office contacted officers at 3 pm to report an incident of indecent exposure.
The employee said they were interviewing a patient for a standard intake process, and the patient began to touch himself under his jacket. The employee left and found a maintenance man who escorted the patient off the property.
Officers advised the employee to call them if the person came back to the facility.
Unhappy Customer Flips Out at McDonald’s
Officers responded to the McDonald’s on Gallia after an unhappy customer caused a scene at 1 pm.
When officers arrived on the scene, he told them he wanted to file a theft report. Police learned he was unhappy about his order and had been making a scene while demanding a refund.
The behavior frightened employees. Officers determined no theft occurred and advised him he was no longer allowed in the restaurant.
Business Evicts Homeless Campers
A Gallia Street business owner contacted officers to report that a homeless couple had set up camp on his property, and he wanted them to leave.
The homeless man called in complaining that he and his girlfriend had nowhere else to go and that they had been living in a tent on the property for awhile and no one had said anything to them until that day.
Officers advised them that they would need to leave the property and the pair complied.
A similar issue occurred at the Four Keys Inn, when a man who had previously been barred from the property refused to leave. Officers spoke with him and he agreed to leave.
Just before 11 pm, witnesses reported homeless men in the ATM lobby at US Bank Drive Thru. Officers spoke to the men who retrieved their belongings and moved along.
Man Assaulted on 17th Street
A man contacted officers at 11:30 am to report that a woman had assaulted him on 17th Street. Officers caught up with the woman at the Oasis Convenient Mart.
Police issued her a summons on the charge, but due to an infection in her leg, they called an ambulance to transport her to the hospital for treatment.
