Jack O. Wineka, 88, of Wheelersburg, died Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Best Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on October 5, 1932 in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Delbert O. and Dorothy Hughes Wineka.
Jack was a retired operator from the Goodyear Atomic Plant, a member of the Western Sun #91 Masonic Lodge and attended the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene.
Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Helen Stewart Wineka and a daughter, Karen K. Wineka.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen McGraw Wineka; a son Stephen (Sandy) Wineka of Daytona Beach, FL; two daughters, Sandy (Alan) Brisker of Minford and Patty (Ronald) Webster of Wheelersburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Matt Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
