James F. Reeves, a longtime resident of Portsmouth, peacefully passed, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, January 21st, 2021. James a US Army Veteran and Owner / Operator of J & D Autobody in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was an avid OSU football fan, he enjoyed collecting antiques and working on cars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Ruby (Nee: Stine) Reeves, two brothers, Charles and Goebel Reeves.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Nee: Kotcamp) Reeves of Portsmouth, three daughters: Lynn (Dale) Sexton, of South Shore, KY, Dodie Lansing, of Portsmouth, Kathy Hacker, of Portsmouth, step-son, B.J. (Aly) Mingus, of Portsmouth, five grandchildren: Matthew (Joni) Hacker; Sara (Jason) Smith, Zachary Sexton, Riley Deirfield, Ellie Sue Mingus.
