Janice L. Edwards, 73, of Hill View Retirement Center, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on March 2, 1949, in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Allard Howell and was a former supervisor for GTE.
Janice was a member of the Sciotoville Christian Church and the Scioto Historical Society, and enjoyed working with genealogy.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Kenneth Howell, and two sisters, Deana Conley and Karen Humphrey.
Surviving are her husband, Lonnie Edwards, two sons, Keith (Jennifer Pauley) Edwards of Portsmouth and Matthew (Holly) Edwards of Virginia Beach, VA, a brother, J. Howard (Connie) Howell of Beaver; and two special grandchildren, Emma Edwards and Grace Edwards.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
