Jennifer Renay Whittaker 58 of Portsmouth,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Jennifer Whittaker, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on December 31, 1966, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Jennifer was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, dedicating her career to communications within the military. Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Michael White.
Jennifer was known for her kind heart and love for animals, especially her passion for fostering and caring for cats. Her home was often a haven for these furry friends, and her compassion for all living things touched many lives. In addition to her love for animals, Jennifer was an avid gardener who found joy in tending to her yard, bringing beauty to her surroundings with every plant she nurtured.
Ms. Whittaker is survived by her beloved mother, Judy Reed; and her sisters, Michelle (Rick) Sparks of Sciotoville, OH and Tammie (John) Rawlins of West Portsmouth, OH. Their bond was one of unbreakable strength and love, and together they will carry on Jennifer’s memory and the warmth she brought into their lives.
