Jeremy Maggard, 47, of Waverly, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his home. He was born May 11, 1974, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Deborah Lynn Gardner and Thomas Howard (Janie) Maggard Jr. of Waverly.
Also surviving are sons, Jeremy Dee Maggard II of Gallipolis, Ohio, Samuel Alexander (Katherine Kerns) Maggard of Gallipolis and Damien Trey Maggard of Piketon, Ohio; three grandchildren; brothers, Nicholas (Paula) Simmons of Piketon and Stephen Richard (Susan Dickson) Gardner; grandmother, Ermaline Gardner of Columbus, Ohio; and an aunt, Pamela Pate of Columbus.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Gardner.
Jeremy was a member of Port 45 in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021, at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in Mustard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
