Jessica Marie Swick, 31, of Lexington, KY, formerly of South Webster, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born March 30, 1994, in Houston, Texas .
Jessica was a graduate of South Webster High School and Asbury University. She formerly worked at AFLAC before going to Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY where she loved going to work every day with her Toyota Family, as she called them. Her passion in 4-H was showing horses and pigs. She had a love for Barrell Racing and competed in Georgia at the National Level. While in college, Jessica trained horses for Ken McNabb Horsemanship in Wyoming where she also had such a good time going on Cattle Drives and branding calves. Her love of others in need shined thru on the Mission Trips she made with her mother and father. Jessica had such a kind soul, an infectious, welcoming smile, that could always make people feel comfortable and loved.
Jessicas love of helping others started at a young age. She would take her money and purchase food for school pantries. In 5th grade she would pack peanut butter sandwiches and miscellaneous snacks for kids on the weekend. What she started continues today thru the Steven Hunter Hope Backpack Program. In High School, she taught herself to play guitar and write her own songs, which started as an English Project; she went on to produce a CD with pride.
Jessica is survived by her parents, David and Maria Swick of Wheelersburg, OH; a brother, David Swick and wife Heather of Columbus, OH; half-brothers, Tom Swick and Terry Swick both of St. Petersburg, FL, Anthony Swick of Sciotoville, OH; a half-sister, Angela Hilditch and husband John of St. Petersburg, FL along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and especially her life- long friends who have been by her these past few years, she loved you all so much! “Fur-babies”, Evie and Penelope will miss their mommy, but will continue to celebrate life being loved by family.
