Joan Sperry Prater, 83, of Reynoldsburg, OH, passed away Friday, January 16, 2025, at Carriage Court Senior Living in Hilliard, OH. She was born in Ashland, KY, on November 20, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Lucy Spriggs Sperry.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Prater; one daughter, Leanne (Craig) Rex of Hilliard, OH; one son, David Prater of Scottsdale, AZ; one sister, Donna Sperry Hicken; two grandsons, Matthew and Evan Rex.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY, with Chris Fannin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY.
