It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joeseth K. Bolton, beloved son, brother, boyfriend, and friend, who departed this life on February 22, 2026, in Portsmouth, Ohio, at the age of 47. Joeseth was born on April 29, 1978, and blessed our lives with his presence, kindness, and unyielding spirit.
Joeseth was a dedicated flooring installer, recognized for his craftsmanship in the hardwood flooring industry. His work was a true testament to his creativity and attention to detail, embodying a drive that inspired those around him.
Joeseth was also a devoted caretaker. He remained by his mother Belva’s side, faithfully caring for her as she was bedridden over the last several years, continuing to look after her even as his own health declined.
He will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Belva Berry, his girlfriend of 15 years, Melinda Cooper, and his cherished brothers, Steven A. (Kortni) and Russell (Ashley) Bolton. Joeseth’s warmth, humor, and generosity will forever echo in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we say goodbye, we remember Joeseth K. Bolton not just for his work, but for the love and joy he brought into our lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Joeseth was preceded in death by his father, Steven E. Bolton.
