John William Taylor
Age 50, of Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at OSU in Columbus. He was born on October 9, 1969, in Portsmouth to Charles M. and Betty (Stapleton) Taylor. John worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, hiking, and watching television.
He is survived by his fiance’, Clara Hanna; sons, Brayden Taylor of Oak Hill and Adam Greene of Portsmouth; daughter, Dashia Taylor of Oak Hill; brothers, Robert, Charlie, Lawrence, and Glen Taylor, all of Portsmouth; sisters, Kathy Furner of New Boston and Sherry Holloway of South Webster; the mother of his children, Kathy Williams; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
