Joshua Stephen Michael Perkins, 48, of Greenup, KY, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on July 6, 1977, a son of Stephen and Rebecca Arras Perkins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Nickel, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Eleaner Perkins.
Josh loved to read the bible.
Left behind to cherish his memory along with his parents are his wife, Billie Dunigan Perkins of Portsmouth, OH; three sons, Wyatt (Skyler) Perkins, Waylon Perkins, and Wade Perkins, all of Greenup, KY; one daughter, Paisley Perkins of Portsmouth, OH; one brother, Josiah (Jessica) Perkins of Greenup, KY; one granddaughter, Myla Perkins and one on the way, Millie Perkins. He also leaves behind one niece, Jaalie Perkins, and one nephew, Isaiah Perkins, along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 6 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Sonny Sizemore officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5 P.M. until 6 P.M. At Joshua’s request, there will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
