Joyce D. Allen, 79 of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, Jan. 24, 2020 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, Oct. 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Ancil Caseman and Nellie Wagell. She was a long time member of the High Praises Church of God in New Boston, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Allen, one daughter, Robin Rawlins, three brothers, Ancil Caseman Jr, Robert Caseman, Charles Caseman, three sisters, Betty Kennedy, Mary Jean Stevens, and Joann Stone.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (Pam) Rawlins of Lucasville, Ohio, Mike (Shirley) Rawlins of Lucasville, Ohio, four daughters, Teresa (Robert) Alavezos of South Shore, Kentucky, Janet Day of Minford, Ohio, Marsha Fields of Lucasville, Ohio and Gayle Andrews of Portsmouth, Ohio, one brother, Donald Caseman of New Boston, Ohio, four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 30, 2020, at the High Praises Church of God in New Boston, Ohio with Rev, Samuel Salyers, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Church from 6 p.m. till the service hour at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Roberson Funeral Home, South Shore, Kentucky.
