Kaitlynn Jane Spencer, 32, of Franklin Furnace passed away on October 23, 2022, at SOMC Emergency Room. She was born July 10, 1990, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Gina Gilliland of Franklin Furnace and the late Scott Hufferd.
She was a Receptionist who loved people and wanted to help anyone in need. She enjoyed writing poems and listening to music.
Kaitlynn is also survived by her husband, Aaron Spencer; grandmother, Judy Riggs of Minford; two sons, Dakota Lockhart and Izaiah Lockhart both of Portsmouth; a daughter, Hannah Lynn Lockhart of Portsmouth; a step-daughter, Kyah Spencer of Dayton; a brother, David Hufferd and wife Crystal of New Boston; two sisters, Misty Jayne and husband Randy of Middletown and Belinda Hufferd of Chillicothe.
She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Glenn Gilliland, Jim Hufford, and Jane Hufferd.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN WHEELERSBURG with Pastor Marty Jacobs officiating.
Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM Tuesday prior to services at the funeral home.
