Karen Sue Roberts, 78, of McDermott, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the SOMC Hospice Center. Born on July 21, 1946, in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late, Clyde and Thelma Grizzell Porter.
Karen worked at the Williams Manufacturing Company and Jade East.
Also preceding her in death are five brothers, Clarence Porter, Jerry Porter, Gerald Porter, Jackie Porter, John Porter and Gene Porter and a sister, Betty Rollins.
Surviving are a son, Jason (Sara) Roberts; a daughter, Holly (Eric) Belena; two brothers, Donald (Jenny) Porter and Daniel (Diana) Porter; four grandchildren, Autumn Bentley, Harley Roberts, Elise Roberts and Jackson Roberts and two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Phillip Minich officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
