Officers responded to multiple reports of out-of-control kids over the weekend.
Around 8 p.m., a 14th Street mom told police that another teen girl had punched her daughter in the face. However, when officers viewed a video of the incident, they determined it was a mutual fight.
She also complained that relatives of the other girl were driving by their Wheelersburg home and making threats. The family members were also allegedly posting videos on social media of them handling a gun. Officers took information or a report.
AT 10 p.m., police were called to a fight between kids on Gallia Street. Officers advised them to go their separate ways and keep it down.
Just before 4 p.m., police were called to the Quick Stop for a report of kids stealing from the store. Officers took the two juveniles home to their parents.
Half an hour later, a boy called 9-1-1 to report his 14-year-old girlfriend’s uncle had spit on her and smacked her in the face.
However, when officers arrived on the scene, they learned that it was the girl who smacked her uncle after he spit on her during an argument. Neither party wanted charges, officers advised them to stay away from each other.
