Just before 1 pm, a caller told deputies some young relatives left their grandparents’ home and went to a neighbor’s to claim they were being abused.

The relative picked up the children and asked to meet with officers. The relative called back to say another relative had met up with them and they began screaming and cussing at them.
Officers contacted CPS. After speaking with the children, they returned the kids to their parents and said they would follow up with the family later. The parents denied any claims of abuse and said they had previously filed unruly charges against one of the children.
