Larry Dale Pennington, 76, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his residence. He was born December 1, 1946, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Walter Pennington and Rosella (Keller) Mustard.
Larry was a former custodian with the Portsmouth City Schools. He enjoyed painting cars, woodworking, gardening, and all kinds of outdoor activities.
Larry is survived by his wife, Pamela Pennington; a son, Christopher Todd Pennington of Florida; a daughter Angie Burrow of Columbus; a half-sister, Sharon Sherman and husband Tony of Wheelersburg, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many friends and co-workers.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Truman, and step-father, Robert Mustard. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 16, 2023, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Ryan Hagen officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
