Lawrence Russel Brentlinger, 64, of New Boston went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at his home. He was born August 28, 1955, in Columbus to Lawrence and Barbara (Beard) Brentlinger. Lawrence had retired as the driver of a concrete and masonry supplies truck for Columbus Concrete and Accessories.
He was an extreme Buckeyes fan and also rooted for the Redskins and Patriots. He enjoyed stripping and recycling wire and also recycling pop can tabs. He collected key chains and regularly attended the First Christian Holiness Church in New Boston.
Lawrence is survived by his son, Shawn Brentlinger of Columbus; daughter, Ashley Blankenship (fiance’ Devin Messer) of Wheelersburg.
Services will be private for the family due to the national health advisories. Arrangements are being handled by D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
