Leander “Lee” Workman, Sr., age 90, of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley, where he was recovering from a broken hip. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Lee lived a life marked by faith, service, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
Born on January 18, 1935, Lee proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a radar operator stationed in Spain. After his military service, he built a career in sales, working in insurance, hearing aids, and other fields, always with a heart for helping others.

He found joy in painting, hunting, reading his Bible, and exploring the world of computers. His passions reflected both creativity and curiosity, and he passed those values on to his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bessie Bramblett Workman; brothers Jim Workman, Raymond Workman Jr., and Dennis Workman; daughter Gina Denlinger; and stillborn son Jeffery Workman.
