An angry husband threatened to cook his wife’s pets after a nasty dispute in West Portsmouth.
She contacted 9-1-1 just before 1 am to say her intoxicated husband was trying to get in the house, and she’d locked him out.

The man then grabbed a drill and started to remove the door while threatening to cook the pet ducks she had in their pond.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they explained that she couldn’t lock her husband out of the house. If she wanted him removed, she’d have to file a protection order, which she said she planned to head to the courthouse to do.
