Lois Jean Brannan McCarty, 74 of McDermott, died Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1950 in Portsmouth, to the late Alva and Vivian Lute Brannan.
Lois was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She loved to work in her garden and loved to mushroom hunt. She also loved animals, especially her dog Foxy and her cat Luna.
Lois is survived by 2 sons; James (Shawn) Colley and Robert Colley, a daughter Rebecca (Charles) Wolff, a brother Alva (Bobbie) Brannan Jr., a sister Sharon Rhoden and many other family members and friends, that will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with George Vastine officiating and interment in Garvin Cemetery.
